So the TJ got its name as I found some snake skin while I was cleaning it. Previous owner was a breeder [emoji15]

So first job was rebuilding the Diffs. I had a HP30 perfect for the task , stripped it down painted and replaced the bushes. Even got the misses to help.

Diffs were dropped off to Southcoast 4wd Centre for rebuilding with new internals, ratios to 4.88 and ARB lockers
In the meantime I worked on the engine running and fixing some dodgy wiring .. replace alot of the hardware with new bolts n washers while everything was apart . https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1caa2c3c6f.jpg

Nearly finished, driving light wiring was damaged needs repairing, hole in exhaust , brakes and hand brake needs replacing and extended lines.

I forgot to install the front Drive shaft before the bluey.. lol .. here it is and I had to reinstall the 4wd selector .. big job dropping the big bash plate..

Couple more thing to do and it should be ready for Grease Monkey. Get the extended brake lines installed and replace the oxygen sensor after the cat.
Ordered 2 months ago some MetalCloak armour and fenders but there stuck in customs .. custom 8” wide [emoji106]

Running the 5.5” RE coils with 11” FOX Shocks with 1” drop brackets in the rear and 10” front shocks with reverse drop bracket 🤦*♂️in the front🤪🤷*♂️. Bumped stopped for the 37’s I’m hoping to get in the new year...Quote:

Well, my plans change as quickly as my Jeeps do... with the Help of David Woodley aka Wooders... Venom will be considerably lower in a few days... we are changing the TJ Diffs to JK Rubicon Diffs, going LCG with a 3”lift and new 35’s (maybe 37’s), all braced and beafed up diffs. These diffs are way wider so going back to a +44 offset to maintain a stockish width.. will post more pics as they come through.

Another shake down on Saturday and I think Venom is ready for longer trips and harder tracks.. finally got under it today and found 3 bolts that needed retorqing up.. a few pics from the weekend..
this pic still had 1” compression in the rear and a little more in the front.. not bad for swaybars connected

The front driver was all the way up, but had some more travel on the passenger side. This was a confirmation that the front ARB bar didn’t require any chopping [emoji106]

So the TJ was built Wheeled, Broken, Fixed, wheeled and rebuilt to Woodley specs Re engineered for NSW and daily driven for 6 months and wheeled Hard just about every weekend........
and then Sold.
it’s new Home is Byron Bay and the owner has an LSX motor and tranny to replace the 4.0L engine... let’s hope those Dana44’s can handle that power...
