IT,S ON AGAIN: Jumbo's CTL (POSTPONED NEW DATE TBA)

Hi all,
I am running a day trip to Cabbage Tree on Sunday, 24/6/07.

Meeting point is Carpark next to BP @ North Richmond (LHS coming from Richmond just after the bridge over the Hawkesbury river) @ 9:30 am for a 10:00 am departure.

As this is a "B" trip you will need to have recovery points front and rear,a snatch strap,shackles and a UHF radio(hand held is fine).I will have a look at the trail closer to the day and adjust the grading accordingly.

Convoy procedure will be followed and National Park rules apply(no dogs,must be registered and licenced etc)

If it is raining I will postpone the trip to another date.You can check here on the Sat before.Or you can drop me an email at jumbo01@optusnet.com.au


PS As is the usual procedure with my trips the LAST one to arrive at the meeting point will be writing the trip report for the Wave... :P

told by the Ranger it was closed. After ringing
his boss, he then told them they were allowed
through.

Hi all,I took a little side trip up to CTL this morning(not working due to the weather :cry: ) just to see what it's like didn't go too far in but it is very wet and will not dry out by sunday.A few cars driving in and out would definately cause some major damage to the track.So I am putting the trip off till a later date.I'll check my calendar and the club calendar and come up with an alternative date.

If you know anyone who was planning to come along and dosen't check here can you let them know.

mine has been off the road since just a few weeks after pecker. It is just a few days from being ready for action. Just stinging to do a CTL trip, i never seem to make em.
