Hi,
New users who have never had a Jeep! We are heading to Cape York (Old Telegraph) next year towing an off road camper trailer and are looking for the ideal 4x4.....capable and comfortable. I have seen a 96 Laredo for sale ($6900, 180000km, auto, ULP) that has winch bar, snorkel, draws, duel batteries, roof console etc in excellent condition. I wanted to know if this is a decent buy and what extras or modifications you would have to make to the truck to take this type of trip. My husband has always driven Cruisers and is dubious about the Laredo's trustworthyness, ability and is worried about the amount of electricals involved. We were also wondering if the Laredo can have a LPG underneath.
If anyone could give us some ideas or information it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jude Woodfield
