I run the Toyo Open Country ATII on my JK Rubi, great tyre, quiet on the road and I notice no difference on most of the tracks I do (haven't done heavy mud or clay for a bit though). I previously ran mud tyres for the past 17 years but found I wanted something quieter on since I now tow a trailer and do more family stuff with the Jeep.
Cheers
Steve
I’ve been running falken wildpeak AT3 on my xj and they are great, awesome on road and in the wet, not noisy and good traction Offroad (except in the mud)

I presume that experiences in the JK will be similar on the JL. For a 2.5" lift you wont do better than AEV and get the drop down brackets.
I can't really comment on tyres as I think MTs are the right solution on a 4wd. Though do look at the Coppers range.
Also look at Kumho MT 51. I am running them on my Challenger. Great hybrid AT design and good wear. Done 60,000k already on them and probably go another 10-15000k. About 15,000 k were towing a 1 tonne trailer.
With lifts AEV will be an easy winner. Just don't forget the control arm drop brackets.
