Hello my friends
I was out on the weekend scouting this trip, and am looking forward to sharing this with you.
Where: Coxs River, Mount Walker Area
This is a beautiful part of the world and the scenery is a must see. While mostly C Grade fire trails there are several sections that could be challenging, with steep climbs up loose shale, with small ledges and wombat holes that could have you calling for help.
There will be several creek crossings of up to sill height, unless it rains and then it could be more, so a snorkel would be good insurance.
We will also visit a couple of campgrounds near the river as we loop around.
Expect to finish mid afternoon.
When: Saturday 28 September 2019
Meet: Shell Service Station, Cnr Great Western Highway and Magpie Hollow Road.

Time: 9:00am for 9:30am - There is fuel available at the meet point. 9:30am departure.
Grade: C+. This trip is suited for experienced drivers.
Requirements: Stock Wranglers OK and Grand Cherokees with a min 2" lift. There are small sections where the brush is close but nothing serious.
All Terrain Tyres are a must and larger than stock recommended. BYO first aid, food and water.
Recovery points front and rear are mandatory. If you have recovery gear bring it, otherwise trip leader will step in if necessary. Expect to use your recovery gear and winches.
UHF Radio to keep in touch with your trail buddies.
This run is limited to: 12 vehicles.
When posting please list your Jeep Model and your real name.
