Dates: 26-27-28 October (Friday - Saturday)


Campsite Details

Hosted at Morisset Showground - http://morissetshowground.com.au (http://morissetshowground.com.au/)
Cost: $20 per unpowered campsite per night for 2 adults and $5 per additional person above age of 6 yrs.
$15 for singles per night.
$25 per powered campsite per night for 2 adults

Camping fees are payable on entry by caretaker. Cash or Card.

Site available: 50 unpowered sites and 10 powered sites. Note: Powered site are first in, best dressed.

Entry from Friday morning 9:00am onward and out on Sunday by lunch.

Showers and toilets facilities available.

Camp Rules
1. NO ENTRY AFTER 8:00PM on any nights
2. Fires will NEED to be 40cms above grass
3. Campers will need to take their own garbage away otherwise it will be chargeable to club

That is OK, but camping fees will depend on how many "campsites" your group takes up i.e. if you share tents or not, etc. Caretakers will let you all know when you arrive. Only 1 car is allowed per campsite. So these are the things to consider when bringing other friends.

It looks like I will have to pull out of Grease Monkey - I just noticed that I have a broken leaf in my front off-side spring pack. It is the 3'rd leaf from the top so it is still drive-able but I dare not risk it off road and won't get a chance to fix it before GM. If it aint one thing it's another!

OK - list is updated. Our numbers are pretty much on the money which is great. We have a small number not confirmed, and you'd expect a couple of drop outs so all in all our target 60-ish vehicles will be about right.

The weather is not playing nicely unfortunately and we can expect the Watagans to be back to it's classic mud reputation rather than than the drought dry from recent times. Remember to tread softly when on the trails. :encouragement:

For those who have registered, below are further information about the event.


FRIDAY

Campground opens at 9am. Please make payment at the showground office.

There is no allocated trips at this stage. A couple of trip leaders are running C+ / B grade reccie after lunch. Please contact Dru, our trip coordinator if you would like to tag along.

Notes for Saturday trips will be posted on the boards in the Pavilion. You can sign on to trips there. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask the trip leaders.


SATURDAY

First trip (Killy Loop) assembly time is 8am. Day trippers, please sign in at the Pavilion before 7:30am if you would like to go on this trip.

Last trip assembly is at 9am.

Please ensure you are at the meeting point at the roster assembly times as trip leaders will leave without you even if you have put your name down for the trips.


SUNDAY

Sydney bound Trip D/C: TBC

Pack up and depart campground by lunch. (Please dispose your rubbish in the bins provided and leave a nice clean campsite behind)



Requirements for trips:

Valid driver’s licence
4WD vehicle capable of low range 4WD, in roadworthy condition. Fuel needs to be full leaving Morisset Showground.
UHF radio
Lunch, snacks, drinks and refreshment
Clothing suitable for expected weather conditions
Recovery points for Grade C trips and above

Hiya. Get there early so you can sign into the trips, as the rosters will fill pretty quickly. First trip departs at 8.30am Saturday with briefing at 8.00am. See you then!
