General: Girls can do anything - chance to get behind the wheel and see what all the fuss is about. Let the bloke deal with all that boring tarmac, this time the girls get dirty.

Where: Sunny Corner to Capertee

When: Saturday 10th February 2018

Meet: Shell (Coles Express Lithgow) cnr Great Western Highway and Magpie Hollow Rd, South Bowenfels

Time: 8.30am for 9am departure(make sure you're fed, watered and fueled, ready to go)

Grade: C Grade

This trip starts with graded trails, gradually start adding in some climbs, and river crossings closer to Capertee. It is a well known easy trip that still needs a bit of low range, so a chance to pretty much test everything out in a low stress environment.

Requirements:

Mandatory: Woman driver. Sense of fun.
Recommended: Radio, food/drink of choice, camera. Full fuel tank. Should not need it but get the bloke to pack the usual SJC recovery kit requirement - appropriately rated shackles, snatch strap, tree protector.

Stock Jeeps are fine.

PS It was was pretty chilly for chunks of the day today, hard to credit, but true. 12 degrees C at 10:00am. The day definitely warmed up, but you might think about a jumper.

So we are going to stay out at Capertee on Saturday night, then maybe hit some more trails on Sunday. Everyone is very welcome to join us - we'll be staying at the Capertee pub, which looks fabulous though we haven't used it before. They currently have 3 double rooms and 3 twins available for the Saturday night.

Sunday driving can be anything people are interested in though generally the idea is to take a low key off road (as much as possible) route back toward Sydney.
