I went and did this trip again on Saturday with some mates in a Patrol and a Navara. Was very interesting to see how they struggled to get traction going up the really big hill where the Cherokee got stuck. They eventually got up after trying half a dozen times. Then I went up in the Jeep and cruised up first go with zero fuss and they were absolutely gobsmacked. The rain then started coming down after that, which made things a bit more interesting. I didn't show them the test track bit at the end, I wasn't sure whether that was only for club use or not. So thanks again to Steve for showing us that area, which gave me the knowledge and confidence to go there with some mates.
where the Cherokee got stuck
oh, I'm famous now lol :encouragement:

Next time we'll do Firetruck, or Maggies Hill :) There's also low fuel hill :) Lots more a lot harder....
Cheers

I am thinking of going to Rydal on the 16th of December or possibly down to Meryla if anyone is interested?
