Hi All, can anyone advise where the best Jeep Grand Cherokee mechanics are in the Eastern Suburbs? I've been to Suttons at Roseberry and they where utterly incompetent and rude. They Replaced a battery for $700+ from under the drivers seat, and did not replace the floor coverings and mats after the job. Not to mention it took them well over a week to work out the problem and no ETA phone calls to update on progress or completion! DO NOT GO THERE for any services works!!! If anyone can advise a better place to go, I'd be very grateful. Regards PAVMAN [emoji106][emoji16]

Wooders garage is over that side of Sydney

Western side has a few more choices:
A&J Automotives (Blacktown)
Hills 4x4 (Castle Hill from memory)
ATV Automotive in Five Dock

Heading further up north is Shents up in Newcastle area
&
Jeeps R Us up at Coffs Harbour

I'll never go to a dealer willingly

The only two Sydney based mechanics that we have in our "Members Business cards" are as Dan said;

A&J Automotives in Blacktown.
Unit 4 / 47 Third Avenue, Blacktown 2148. Phone (02) 8678 9078.
a-jautomotive@outlook.com (a-jautomotive@outlook.com)

and

Hills 4X4
Lot 44 Unit 24 Carrington Road Castle Hill 2154. Phone (02) 9899-4240.
Hills4x4@bigpond.net.au (Hills4x4@bigpond.net.au)

Both are excellent!

ATV at 94 Queens Rd Five Dock. Phone (02) 9712 8001, advertise as Landrover specialists and do service and modifications for Jeep JK Wranglers. They could be worth a try and are closest to you.

Shents at B4, 4 Dulmison Ave Wyong, NSW 2259 Ph 02 4305 0861 do have a good name, but are even further away, as is Jeeps R Us in Coffs Harbour.

Wooders Garage is not really a mechanic. He is a parts supplier and does custom work, but I don't think general servicing - and he is in Hornsby.
(please correct me if I'm wrong)

Google has found HiTech Electrical and Mechanical at 589-591 Gardeners Rd Mascot NSW 2020 Ph 02 9667 4008. They advertise as Jeep Specialists, but I have no knowledge of them. Anyone else know them?

Try www.ausjeepoffroad.com (http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com)
There is a specific WK & WK2 forum page on the site as well as many other specific & general forums.... You may get a broader response there...............

FYI I focus on custom, restoration & modification (prefer combination ;)) sometimes also like the problem jobs too.
Sorry not doing maintenance, servicing or other general work.
And yes I'm currently in Hornsby.

Why do we still not have a "like" button? Thanks for the correction! :encouragement:

Unfortunatley there's not that much choice in the Eastern suburbs for repairers. My work has tried to set up a workshop there, but can not find an already established workshop that is suitable, and the local councils out there don't want to approve any new workshops in the area. Closest place that I know of to you that services Jeeps are ATV in Fivedock, but as Dave already mentioned the other repairers in the Blacktown area, if you're willing to travel to Five Dock, it's just as easy to jump on the motorway and go west.
Alternatively, any of these NRMA authorised repairers should be able to look after you. https://www.mynrma.com.au/arn/repairer/search.aspx?rid=5&cid=0. I have had interactions with the guys at Gils autor service and maintence in the past and they are pretty good.
