a question about abs module in 96 grand cherokee

can someone help me? I have a 96 model and the abs light has appeared on the dash.The guys at jeep ballina say that the computer says rear valve problem, apparently you have to buy the whole module( $5,000) I was in disbelief. One of the guys told me that often with these modules and also volvos, the solder on the wiring can become dry and cause this problem, therefore to have it re-soldered probably would work. Anyone able to help?

I've got the same problem with my one and got a new module which was tested and worked perfectly before I got it, so I'm still trying to get a solution to it. Have you had any luck?
