Wrangler Rubicon 2013 or Wrangler 2015

Hi guys,

I an opportunity to purchase a JK Rubicon 2013 with < 10000km mileage for < $35 000, I was looking at keeping my current and fixing that up but now with this option on the table it makes it a little more difficult.

Or do I look at just purchasing a new 2015 from Jeep with the plate clearance special running.

My current JK has over 60000km at present, it's a 2012 model.

Any thoughts, throw it out there.

What wrong with your current jk to make you think of getting rid of it? I have a 2013 jku and done 84,000km.

I would look at what I could do to make it better for offroading, as again the cost of back trading eta.

Nothing wrong with the current one, but we're in the process of purchasing a new car for my wife, so we're looking to consolidate some payments. While I'm at it, looking at these options.

Depends what you want to do with it. I reckon if you've got a Ruby at that price take it and run away laughing.

but if you're going to mega modify and that means removing the Ruby goodies, start with a Sport.

Actually thinking more about it, if you've got a 2013 Ruby just buy it. As a note, Rubies can take 6 months to deliver from order. My plate 2014 Ruby arrived in Aus in April 2015.

Great guys, thanks for the advice. I think I'll be sticking with my old JK and do some addons to that. Throw money this way please :-)
