What time do they typically finish up? I figure it'll be a long one if it starts at 3:00pm ;)
Cheers
Steve
Steve, last time when we started about 5pm we were out by about 10:30pm... and a small part of that time was letting Ben play with his new setup.
You can really make menai as long or as short as you want...

3:00pm at the old toll gates at Berowra is fine with me. Anyone know the area well? I have the infamous C grade trip that Jeff ran on the GPS but that's about it. I also need to be out of there by 10:30pm as I have an early appointment on Sunday.
Sound Ok with everyone. Can you make it for then Stu?

Had a great afternoon/evening up at the Watagans. Myself, Mark H, Steve T and Ben met up at Berowra and were on the trails by 4:30. Had a few easy bits and then bumped into some guys in lifted and locked Patrols and Cruisers etc that had just had to turn back from a rather tuff rocky, steep, long climb. We decied to go through and give the climb ago after being told there was no way we would make it without lockers front and rear. They had just turned back and given up after some breakages.
We'll this was the highlight of the trip for me, Steve T went up first on hwy terrain tyres but locked font and rear, made it no real troubles, Mark made it but the shorter wheelbase of the TJ made it a bit tougher. Ben walked up and me, no lockers, managed to get up as well. Took a little while but left me grinning from ear to ear :)
Followed several more tracks around, Steve T blew a bead coming out of a mud hole and had to change tyres in the humid 34 degree heat. No more mishaps but some great tracks and fun. Got out at 9:15pm after a wrong turn but it just added to the trip.
Anyway, have to do it again.
Looking forward to Anns' pictures.
Cheers

Thanks for the day guy's, great drive. Awesome drive up that first slope Steve.F. Thinking we should have sent you back down to bring one or two of them back up to show them how it's done!

I couldn't tell you, but I think it was a combination of a couple of tracks, including some of the bits I've been to with Jeff
