Best to contact Mark or Troy, it's normally at the trip leaders discretion as to how many visitors can attend a trip.
Cheers
Steve

Just got back from Stockton, it's the softest I've ever seen it amongst the dunes. A bit of wind and hot dry days and in between the dunes it's really tough going. I stopped going down a very slight hill, no brakes needed (as is typical of sand), and basically just sunk. I had to dig a ramp out in front of the tyres to get moving again. Ended up taking them down to 12psi as even 15psi was too high!!!
The tank traps had all but disappeared under the dunes and around there it was almost undrivable!!!
You guys should have some real fun up there especially if we dont get any rain before you go :)
Cheers
Steve
I'm in for the trip
I'm tentative. I'll confirm the week before.

Misjudged driving along the ridge of a dune. There were a couple of those that day.

Ah yeah... what he said... oops
Soft sand, glare, car slipped sideways... umm... didn't really mean to do that!
But otherwise great day! I'll get my pics up this evening.

That's Stockton for you, bloody glare always catches someone on a trip. I had the same sort of thing where I was on the crest of a dune and it just collapsed, just managed to get the nose pointing down hill and power out of it before she went over on her side.
Cheers
Steve
My reaction time was quite up to scratch for such things... still the experience was good and I'll know what to look for/ do next time.
As I said, now you know how much of an angle you can put your Jeep on without it going over :)
Well, at least we learnt something!
