Interesting article in this months JP magazine on the worst Jeep manual transmissions.
The gist of it was that AX15's and NV3550's get a tick of approval, but the 6 speed NSG370 which first appeared in late model TJ's and continued onto the JK platform didn't fare so well. The author was also fairly critical of the automatic 42RLE which again appeared in later TJ's and carried on to the JK until the appearance of the W5A580 5 speed auto in the Pentastar.
With so many 3.8L JK's floating around i just wonder what people think of their transmissions?
