Meryla State Forest for 10th August

Please post if you are interested in attending , Type of 4WD and modification/tyres...
Nothing to hard on this trip ;)...well it appears a few tracks have hardened up a bit.. please be prepared for some MUD..

Where -- Meryla State Forest ,
When --10th August ,
Meet -- Shell Servo on the OLD HUME Hwy ..take the Mittagong Turn Off drive for 4 minutes canr miss it.
CB Channel : SJC CH 15
Time -- 0900 Saturday 10th
Grade -- D and C grade - good for beginners,
Requirements -- recovery points Front/Rear, recovery gear, radio, food/drink of choice, camera.
This run is limited to 12 Jeeps

Hi All,, Thanks to All for making the trip down to Meryla...
Well what an awesome day.....Got to get some good clips of the climbs... plus a few recoveries.... and also a lot of entertainment lol...
A substantial breakdown at the end of the day had JetKev's Supercharger letting go....But thanks to Rob and Cobus...for chasing a trailer...we were back on the road to Sydney by 1830..

Ill put a video clip together of the next day or so....

I really had a lot fun 4WD with the Sydney Jeep Club for the very first time. I would to thanks everyone for there help while my supercharger let me down. I also would like to thanks Rob who towed my jeep back home and Jose who wait patiently while we hunting down for the trailer.

Guys, it was a great day, thanks heaps to Jose for organising. Reputations set early as 'the go hard or go home' group and Kev certainly won the days honours in that regard. Also the first weekend run with the club for Kel and I - wont be the last. Our 8 year old, Jared was asking this morning, when we could go again. Pretty sure even Piglet the pug was barking something similar as he faced another boring day in the back yard today! See you all soon.

Jose, Well belt snap is now fixed. Power steering pump also fixed. I still need to fix 3 wheel bearings, idler, alternator, ac compressor and tensioner. So still a bit to do.
