Was originally trying to get a few people out & about in another club i'm in & ended up being the only one - so I took a couple of mates for a lite run around Newnes state forest yesterday via the Lithgow small arms museum:

I used a Garmin 62s for nav duties with the Garmin topo maps on it and it went great - I stuck to the liter tracks with a few turn-arounds due to lack of confidence & experience - next time I go up, i'll put up a proper thread to see if there's any interest in a lite run :)
