Due to us living in a far away land majority can't make it to Florida for jeep beach this weekend so we are bringing jeep beach to us, Stockton beach nsw 10am meet up at lavis lane servo, Sunday 5th of may, just a casual day for our jeeps, easy driving and a few stops for photos on dunes, byo lunch, tag your jeep mates tag businesses that wanna take an opportunity to show of thier rigs lets make this thing huge guys, short notice but hope we can get a big turnout, more notice next year...

You can purchase The worimi/stockton beach permit from the metro service station across from maccas at lavis lane $10 per day or $30 for a year just ask at the counter.

im keen on going being a first time jeep owner. wrangler sport unlimited 13 only 2 weeks old stock. you guys think it would be alright? will be coming from sydney. the convoy idea is great!

ill be at thornleigh maccas by7:30am leaving at 8am SHARP if anyone wants to convoy up there with me? (its approx 1hr 45mins from there, so should be enough time). Just look for my Rescue Green JKU with sydney jeep club sticker on the windscreen.

Radio is a real must have, handhelds are fine as you will typically be in a convoy all within a few hundred metres of each other. You dont have to have a compressor as you can air up again at Lavis lane afterwards.

I have an extra hand held radio which is adequate, will be at Lavis Lane Maccas from 9.30am though and will be monitoring CH15. See you guys then

Try to play spot the nudist :P After this shot was taken, we all went on a drive.... where... there was a sword fighter at Samurai Beach (and his missus)... "What has been seen cannot be unseen" Re Phil McCracken & his mate in the dunes - glad I didn't get a glimpse of that though haha And I swear that the damn moon cycles was stopping me from driving up some of those rocks after the other trucks had finished :D

What a shame we couldn't hit the dunes where I bent the prop shaft after hitting a steep dune at high rate of speed and sand boarded a few years ago.

Anthony mentioned Menai being available for offroading. Anyone with more info on it?

Menai as far as I know is officially off limits however if things have changed. I have heard that the local police are no longer patrolling there as its now private property.

It would have been better if we had access to the dunes. Luckily I took the family there just before it closed.

It certainly affirms my believe of being busy and doing as much now because yer only appreciate it when it's gone . :worked_till_5am:
