And it's free, gratis, no cost. Just bring a chair, we'll supply the popcorn.

Why do we not reintroduce raffles? Used to be a common practice but not for a while. Don't we have funds available for this as I think it would encourage member turn up

We are still confirming what movies will be playing - but the basic agenda is:
Come at 5pm and get yourself setup (bring your own chair & maybe a blanket to keep warm).
First movie (kid friendly PG) will start at 5:30pm. Till approx 7pm.
Then we'll have a bit of a break & food etc.
Second movie (rating PG-M) will start at 8pm.

Planning to have the fire going & the Mushroom heater (anyone with extra available let me know).
We'll also have Popcorn available. As well as coffee/hot chocolate freshly brewed. But in a slight change from previous "events", due to club fund raising, there will be a nominal cost of $2 each. All proceeds going naturally to the club.

Now just incase you aren't aware the movies are played outdoors in our yard (which gives us about a 6m screen) and have just tested the new sound system which will give it some good atmosphere :).

If you &/or family are thinking of attending please let us know so we can budget appropriate resources.
Oh yeah the adress:
4 Leighton Place Hornsby again from 5pm onwards.

If it will take a raffle to get people to turn up I'd be happy to arrange.

For the first movie, Hunno has supplied "Rise of the Guardians" unless anyone has any other suggestions?

"Escape from planet earth" for the kids and "the Hobbit" for the big kids

Well since Stuarts son did a runner with the DVD's, the entertainment ended up Stuart wanting to do the Gwiyomi in his mankini, but we settled upon "Raise of the Guardians" and then the ogininal 1977 Star Wars.
The seating area wasn't quite as spacious as ideal since Stuarts ZJ was conveniently parked right in the middle, but the brief rain cleared for a good nights viewing.
