TJ Disc Brakes

After taking the TJ for a drive tonight i had smoke coming from the front right brakes

After further inspection the piston seams to have cracked and stuck out and the heat seams to have damaged the disc

Where is the best place to get front discs New or Secondhand ?

I believe there is a new piston kit available for it,

Is it best to replace both discs and pistons or just the failed one?

Steve. ALWAYS do both sides at the same time be it brakes, bearings seals etc
Keep away from RDA brand. They are cheap for a reason!

brand new OEM calipers pads and roters- never used-come with piston rebuild kits. $250.

all off high pinion XJ D30 axels.

I managed to get 2 new rotors and callipers, Got a margin on them so should be back on the road this week

What pads should i get ?
