Xj rear diff

Hi just wondering if a jeep wrangler dana 44
will be a straight bolt it to the 99 Cherokee and
Would the ratios match the front ? Cheers

TJ has coils and control arms on the rear, XJ has leaf springs. The mounts are totally different. In saying that it didn;t take me long to cut all the TJ mounts off and weld on some XJ mounts when I did the swap. The ratios in the TJ are not the same as the XJ so you'll need to regear it.
