Shoalhaven beach access?

Hi All, so ive been googling away but cant find any informative articles on whether shoalhaven beach has been closed to 4wd's or not? does anyone know? Lots of articles talking about closing it, but none saying if it is closed or not?

I'm heading down that way for a camping fishing trip and wouldnt mind having a look at that stretch of beach?

Not that I'm aware of....
Are you referring to seven mile beach?
If so I know you used to be able to take the cars on the beach years ago, but now she is locked up tight!!!
I'm happy to be wrong, I doubt it though....

out past grenwell point and across the ferry there is a sandy track that leads out to the break wall - I don't believe you can drive on the beach any more though.
