Folks, I have an opportunity to buy a NP242 SYE (originally intended for an XJ - the one Mitch (AJOR) is selling). Here it is (it's a hack and tap one):

Does anyone know if the XJ NP242 and the KJ NP242J are identical as far as the output end is concerned and if this SYE could be used on a KJ? I am told that early XJs and later model ones were different in that the later ones had the boot on the output shaft. I know I would need a new rear drive shaft as well, and I'd get a double cardan one.
Of course Tom Wood sells a much more ambitious SYE for the Liberty but its much more expensive as well.
I don't think anyone in Oz running a SYE on a KJ yet.
I'm looking for a complete rear drive solution that eliminates the 3" lift driveline vibes I'm getting under the much stronger torque output of the GDE flash tune. Perhaps the double cardan shaft is all I need? Opinions?
Cheers
Glen
