Yes this would an ideal trip for family.
My daughter has been coming since she was 2.
I get in trouble if. She finds out I've been out without her.

+1 on that. I have my 4 year old coming with me ever since I can remember.....
SteveC
Would you please add Steven Hill & family to the list as my visitors.
Thanks
Bear
Yes kids are welcome
Though in that environment, I would keep an eye on them as it's quite thick bushes nearby, especially near the water.
Also (and I don't want to alarm or put any one off), the last time we were there we spotted, a few roos, goannas, water lizards and a snake - so care should be taken.
In saying that - I anticipate that we will be more in the open area rather than in the "bushes"
Besides Hunno will protect me!

Are you now coming?

A Segwey is one of those funny little wheeled contraptions that you stand on - has a handle that comes up the front to hold onto, but unlike a scooter - the wheels are to your left and right, not in front and behind
Hunno is out, still no Jeep & will be hung over.

Yes,
One off those wheelie things to roam about on, you know, the inventor who just ran off a cliff on his estate this year........Lol...................
Sorry you can not make it Hunno and Redrubi, perhaps next time
I would have thought we would have had more people, especially the senior members as it's a great time to ask questions and discuss all manner of things about the club with time a plenty. never mind...
SteveC could you please take Steven Hill off the list.

Is it just me or is the list getting smaller every time I look at it :heart-borken:
It's not unusual for a few to drop out as the day approaches, don't worry about it you'll still have a good time.

Haven't been out in quite a while, so hoping to get along to this in the big red beast. Nothing extreme, only recovery point I have for it is the hitch receiver shackle!
See you all tomorrow.
I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT THERE MAY "NOT" BE ANY BBQ PITS AFTER ALL, gas fires only.
I'm getting mixed reports since I was there last. If any one knows different please post
Sorry for inconvenience

I just called the RFS on 1800 679 737 and it said there are no fire bans in place.
Will call tomorrow to make sure.
But if there are no BBQ pits, I don't mind bringing an extra portable gas cooker if need be.
Xandro rang me (just as I got back to Sydney), he had stopped in Blackheath and when there he realised he's lost his wallet and thinks its up at our lunch spot on the Oberon Road (just after the turnoff on the Jenolan Caves Road). He and Nathan are heading back up there now to search for it. If anyone happened to notice it and picked it up after we left please sms or call Xandro on: 0405212900. I'll leave this up until I hear back from him.
Oh no, at least he discovered it before he got all the way home.
I had a look because i was last coming out of the forest, saw a scooter & thought someone left it behind but then realised it was broken & dumped. Kept my eyes peeled incase some of the kids left anything. Saw nothing else & come out. Hope he finds it.
Had a great day guys. Thaks SteveC.
Eddy
Is he sure he had it when we left Glenbrook .. did he buy anything at the servo?
Maggie.
sorry we did not meet up with you guys there where a few cars with issues out at Yerrenderrie so we stayed with them to make sure everyone got out. We did see Xandro at Mt Victoria on his way back to look for the wallet.
Probably just as well as we didn't quite get to where we were supposed to be ... what happens on the trip stays on the trip .. nod, nod wink wink
Here are a couple of the photos that Xandro asked me to send in for the Trip Report:
They are both taken in the same spot but a different perspective - the "Deja Vu lost spot" as it came to be known as we were there twice.
