How much Jeep needs to be in a project vehicle for it to qualify for entry into the Jeep club??

Typically it needs to start life as a Jeep, that is it's registered as a Jeep or was registered as a Jeep. What sort of thing are you thinking about? Slapping a willys body on a mitsubishi or something like that probably wont cut it as it will be registered as a Mitsubishi. At least that's my understanding.

I don't care what chassis the car runs as long as the body is Jeep. If you look at it and a non jeep person looks and says it a Jeep!
That's my opinion!

Besides all they have to do is buy $100 jeep sit it a paddock & claim it as a project!

We have members doing this right now.

Maybe if it was an original steel body, but not a fibreglass copy on a non Jeep chassis. Even then if the rego papers says its something other than a Jeep then it doesn't seem right to me.

Most non Jeep people would say these are all Jeeps, yet there is no jeep in them at all, they are all Mitsubishi

I don't think it is defined anywhere in the club constitution - so it's somewhat open to interpretation.
I tend to agree with SteveF, the vehicle (or a significant portion) should have originated as a "Jeep" branded vehicle from "Willys, Ford, Bantam (if only), Kaiser, AMC or Chrysler. Under licence mitsubishi's or Mahindras etc in my book do not qualify as real Jeep in my eyes.
