advise on where to mount switches in 98 xj

Just starting to get some toys for the XJ, have mounted an arb air compressor under the
bonet on the passenger side, any suggestions on where to put the switches on the inside,
want it to look neat.

I put switches in the centre console, near the ashtray.

I put mine in behind gear shift using carling switch surrounds from Wooders photos not the best but you get the idea
