Stephen,
Do you have room for one more, the kids are at me to go on a trip this sounds like a good one for them I know your already at 13 but happy to help spot if need be
Now here is something. I have managed to get the Mrs & Ms 13 to come along for this trip. Now the questions start,
1. Are there any toilets for my Ladies, apart from the 1 at the Railway &
2. Are any other people bringing their Children?
The things we do to make them happy.
Thanks guys
Eddy

Plenty of gum tree's part of the joy of getting away from the city :)
As long as Stephen is happy having a few more Jeeps on this trip than the orginal limit of 10 I have my 3 kids there aged 9 6 and 2

Probably a silly question - but why do some of us have - before our names in the list of attendees and some don't ???
ie
- Wolfe
- Steve F
etc etc
PS - with the new bigger muddies and lift - we are now keen to tackle the harder stuff :) :) :)
Trip is "full".......................
Only toilet is at the ZigZag...Bring your own shovel/paper so to speak or get the other half back by hitting nearly every bump back on the way to the ZigZag......Lol.....................

What happened to the long drops there use to be a few around

They got vandalised and were subsequently removed.

Hi guy's,
I did not adjust most of the attendee list............... But being a self confessed computer "boof-head", gave up on trying to remember unsigned entries are whom they are, so using their avartars with usually a ?? after their names added to the list ( unless I do know who is what e.g, Flatfender = Ian W......)
PS - with the new bigger muddies and lift - we are now keen to tackle the harder stuff :) :) :)
Should be some I will point out to you to have go at along the way.............

I was wondering the same thing - Perhaps is Stephen hitting too many key strokes..

Wondering if the "nip's were getting longer" on your end......Lol...... Got the reply up at least the best I could and the rest is rather self-explainitory I thought?? and came up the way it did??............ Computers are not my thing, buggers me how many times I have to repeat it, again.....................Lol...............

A great day out in the mountains today - although it would have been even better without the wind and dust. Did manage to discard the waterproofs though, although I should probably have left them on for that mudhole.
Thanks to Steven for his organisation again and one or two others for some heart stopping moments. Hope someone managed to get them on film.
Cheers
Ian W.
Here are a few images of the day out.
Great day and shame I left early due to a slight sound in rear left. Looks like it was simply my lower control arm was not tight enough...
Fantastic day thanks guys. My Girls didn't think it was to bad. My Daughter wanted me to play in the mud though. I just wasn't up for it. (cleaning)
Looks like they might come again.
Well done to Stevet for his spotting, Wolfe for his inspiration, lift & wheel (something i will get in the near future) & skizzi for something to look forward to when i can afford a moster truck like his!
Eddy
Really enjoyable day and it was really good to see the families out today, Aree with his wife and lotsa kids, Eddy with his family and Dave Erwin with his three little ones and don't they just love the bumpy roads. Many more 4WDers in that crew today. Unfortunately I had a fall at lunch so we had to leave early, a few bruises and some aches and pains but nothing serious. I hope there are some photos of the mud puddles the guys were heading to when we left them.
Good trip, thanks Stephen for calling it, and a full list as well ... I think we had about 14 vehicles. Thanks also to Will and Wolfie for their lunchtime entertainment.
Maggie.

Just a quick note to say thanks to Steve and the rest of the gang from both the family and myself. It was a great day out and for me the most challenging run with the Jeep club yet, and hence the most enjoyable so far.
Will post up some photos tomorrow once I sort through them

Such an awesome day, my favorite time out wheeling.
A good turn out, 15 or so jeeps and the perfect level of difficulty, although Wolfe and I did get outselves in some trouble on the same climb. Thanks to everyone who attended and special thanks to Steve T for leading and providing wise advice and spotting - especially in the moments when i really needed it.
Eddy, I just spent $90 on getting the jeep polished so your decision not to play in the mud was probably a good one...
Cheers all, hope to see you out again soon.
Will
lol, i spent 25 bucks at a DIY carwash and it still looks the same....

Yeah Skizzi, i usually go to those places, but it hadnt had a decent clean in ages...They washed under the bonnet and the frame / diffs for me too.
This was at sydney car wash at gordon... they always have specials and knock down their prices for you on the more expensive washes... They do wash and vacumm for 15 dollars...
Just dont get talked in to the 200/300 dollar options as the girl their likes to build raport with jeep drivers, claiming her BF used to have one (which i dont not believe). She thinks im crazy for not buying the 300 dollar paint protection....
haha yea htey do try fool people.
you know i meant I spent 25 bucks and my car still looks like i drove through a mud pit.... right ;)
it will take me at least another 2 washes to get it "clean"
Quite a coincidence that the Pipeline we travelled on Sunday appears on the latest DVD that arrived last night from 4wd Action.
Thank's to everyone whom came out for the day. I lasted a little longer then even I expected so that was bonus as well and I hope the remaining guy's who stayed on for the last tracks had fun & no damage............
Thank's Dave I. for your little "tongue in cheek" roasting to me about your kid's giving you a bit of a hard time on the pipe line track when you sort off stopped on that little climb ( I didn't really make you stop on purpose, really........Lol.....), anyway, that's what I thought dad's were for sometimes especially when you could not do much but Smile about it.........Lol..........
Who took the pic's of the Magpie at the rock there.......... A "billygoat" last year now a Magpie.......Lol.........
We had a police 4wd sitting patiently for 20 minutes or so about ten feet behind us whilst we aired up, re-connected, cleaned number plates etc at the ZigZag cark park. They pulled out only after Will had cleaned one of his blinkers of dirt from it. They must have thought some easy tickets were about to be given out..........Lol............
P.S. need a trip report -- Last to arrive or last to leave to complete the tale......Anyone wants to put their hand up... Kid's prospective's/report's are welcomed as well if they want to write something up about their day with mum & dad and the SJC and then see them (their story) in the club mag as well.......................

Sounds like it's not a to flattering a segment on the DVD?? Not seen the DVD or any of them for that matter......................
Just a dumb question because this was my first trip to zigzag. Did we do the pipeline track?
Cheers

Yes, quite literally it was the track with the water pipe lying in the middle, that ended with the large wombat holes before you joined the main trail
