Great Tune for my "GRAND" Diesel

Thought I'd like to mention my NEW TUNE from Murchison Products for my 2010 Grand Cherokee CRD. WOW what a difference.Much more smoother power. Much better fuel economy.More instant power. Heaps more torque. Unnoticeable turbo lag.Well worth the money.Highly recommended.Will really make a difference towing the caravan.

Guys if you dont know who it is please give the benefit of the doubt. It may sound like a sales pitch for a first post but I can tell you it is not someone who has anything to do with (as far as I can tell) with Murchison Products or is even in the same state.

Hey Steve, Your right. Just a bit excited about the tune after having a bad experience with a cheap overseas mob doing a tune which did not work out. Waste of time & money. I live in Miranda, Sydney & have no affiliation with Murchison Products. Only that I've bought some gear from Stu since buying the new Grand Cherokee last Oct. I do a bit of off roading in a club & he's helped over that time with skid plates etc..Are all your club members so skeptical?

No, just normally the first post is a bit of a 'Hi I'm....' etc so some have jumped to conclusions that it was a one post 'Buy my product' thing which does happen a bit :(

And you aren't alone in the club either - we have at least one KJ CRD owner that got the Murchison tune last year - not me!!! He did at least 1 to 2 litres per hundred better than me all the way to Birdsville and back. I am very tempted...

Folks here are the facts: Murchison Products (aka CRDSTU on AJOR) is the agent for Green Diesel Engineering (GDE) a US CRD tuning shop that specialises in Jeep diesel ECM flash tunes. In other words this is not a Chip, it is a full ECM software reflash with new engine management software. I know this because I run the KJ version of this software. They have also cut code for the JK CRD, and the Grands (including the new one). The GDE guys worked on the original software development for Jeep and later banched out on their own as tuners. Stu Murchison is their agent here and all local sales have to go through him. I bought mine directly from Keith at GDE as they did not have an agent here at that time (March 2010). I also run their TCM flash.

By the way one of the very best features of this software (besides the increased power, torque, and fuel economy) is that they turn off EGR which has massive benefits in engine longevity, oil cleanliness and extended drain interval. It also means that you can run less expensive CF grade oils without the need for the expensive CI or CJ grades that are blended to manage soot blowby.
