98 xj panhard/track rod

have got movement on bar at conection to bracket and the tie rod connection. looks like the tie rod end has a grease nipple but is sealed, ie non replaceable. do i have to replace the whole bar?

Yep, only option is to replace the whole bar, Wooders sells a nice one with a replacable tie rod end and adjustable length (if you have had a lift it'll need to be a little longer)
