Maggies Day Out - Family picnic/BBQ 10th April 2011
Place: Pioneer Village, Rose Street, Wilberforce
Everybody welcome for a family day; club barbeque will be available, bring your own everything. Plenty of room for kids to throw a frisbee, ride a bike etc etc.
If enough entries, we will have a Show and Shine so get those Jeeps looking spick and span.
Entry $15 per family, or $5 adults and $3 per child
If you wish to convoy, Maggie and Bear will be at Macquarie Park Windsor (just over the bridge after you go through Windsor) at 10.30 am. We will wait there until 11 and then go on to Pioneer Village, on right just after the caravan park (about 5 minutes).
Post up intention, no limit ..visitors welcome.
Good opportunity for new members to meet and mingle. Would love to see everybody.
If you require further information ring me on 0412 803 524

I'd like to come, and I'll try and find a family to bring with me. May be able to bring my God daughter and her mother...

Thanks to all those who turned up. The weather gods were good to us, we were packed up and ready to leave when it started to rain. People appeared to enjoy wandering around the old township, some availed them selves of the sulky rides.
At lunch everyone sat around in a large circle and told tall tales and true.
Dave Grime won the bottle of wine for the show and shine and Danny Riley got a Jeep plaque for equal first.

Thanks Bear and Maggie for a nice day out...... We were a bit late but the kids enjoyed the Horse cart rides and the relaxed atmosphere.... Next time I will make sure we get there early enough to enjoy the whole day...... It was nice and totally different to the normal SJC day out.......
Can we please have some more days like this.... :) ....
Thanks once more Maggie........

Yep, it was a nice day out :) and a great way to finish off the weekend before back to work.
Cheers
Steve
Thanks to everyone who came to Wilberforce today. It was lovely to meet 'the other half' of members who usually come alone to meetings or trips. One encouraging thing was that everybody who attended today thought we should have more days like today, or even easy, social camping weekends.
We will work on this and appreciate any suggestions.
Maggie.
Thanks for organising it Maggie, was a very nice day out! Trudi and Alex also said thanks, they enjoyed meeting everyone a lot.
Dave.
Maggie... ...it was a perfect day for us... ...seeing everyone there - thank you for putting it on. We are so so sorry we were late - a few family issues, but ended up really well for us here. Thank you again.
Wondered what happened to you Hunty.
