No fuel at injector rail

98 ZJ
Slid sideways & dropped onto tree stump hitting fuel tank. The engine cut out straight away. After checking we still had spark we found no fuel/pressure at injector rail.
My thinking is either damage pump or pick up.

Anyone want to hedge a bet?

Who makes tank armour for a ZJ?

Did it again, anyone got a fuel pump for a ZJ 98?
There was a suggestion that you can run an external fuel pump. Has anyone done or seen this done before?

It sits inside of the fuel tank.......Sold mine............

yer I've replaced it once already with a pre update version & now that has been cracked as well.

After much rolling around in the mud I got the replacement pump unit in.... & it didn't work. Let that be a lesson to me to test second hand parts first.
I was not going to drop the tank again in the mud, so I dodged Up an extenal tank with unit I just removed which got me going & got me home. Straight up onto ramps & between the orignal & the second replacement I scrapped up enough parts to get one that works.
