Project Renegade BushDriver Mag Early 80's

In the early 80's Bushdriver Magazine had what they called "Project Renegade" one was a beautiful light blue one, the other a black one. Does anyone have any idea whatever happened to these vehicles........

Early 80's!! Someone is showing their age. Maybe someone will know but the mag disappeared many years ago now so might be tough to find out what happened to a Jeep in it pushing 20 years ago.

I vaguely recall the series.
Was a shame to see bushdriver vanish as it was my favourate of the mags.
But would be a tough call to find out much about the vehicle......

And here I was thinking you WERE the guys to know.....That was the start of my lusting over Renegades long before Wranglers were around, if I remember there was actually vehicles released over the years with two spellings of Renegade on the bonnet......At least us of the Japanese driven 4x4 know how to spell Toymota.....bugger there are two spelling of Toyota after all
