Hey guys,

Just bought an xj cherokee over the weekend, loving it so far except for the headlights which have lots of stone chips and pretty well stuffed.

I'm looking at replacing them and saw some on ebay but i'm not really sure how good they will be

Could anyone confirm if these will do the job or should i just head to the wreckers in search of some decent condition ones there?

Cheers,

Pat

Not sure if they'll do the job or not, those pairs are different sizes so at least one pair wont fit ;)

As an aside to improve the headlights change the wiring harness so power is drawn straight from the battery via a relay rather than it going through the headlight switch first, basically change the switch to just power the relay rather than the headlights and you'll notice a big improvement in lighting.

Cheers steve didn't notice the different measurements and the relay idea. My next question is, does anyone know the correct size for the xj headlights?

Don't forget anything from the is most likely to be for LHD.

Cheers Hunno hadn't thought of that either. So the lights are 5X7 but the more i look at the after market lights the more i think i'd be better off sourcing factory parts, unless that is someone can recommend somewhere that sells good after market headlights?

Steve your a champion! Thanks everyone for your input it's been really helpful.

My next question is does anyone know where i can get the clear indicators and side markers in Australia? Or is my best bet to get it shipped from the USA? I was hoping to find them here just to avoid the shipping costs.

Cheers,

Pat
