Fuel Lock Help Please !!

Hi All,

On the way home from a weekend camping i stopped for petrol and i cant unlock the fuel lock... My only guess, because there are a few scratches around it that i dont recognise, is that someone has tampered with it trying to syphon fuel out.

So when i unlock it, turn the key clockwise, and then twist the black handle anti clockwise, the black handle just spins around the lock. Now im sure i remember the entire thing spinning when unlocking it and taking it off?

So does anyone know any magical tricks to get it off? And secondly where can i buy a new one?

spoke to Dave and Colin at Wooders and they recommend just wrenching the old one off and then unscrewing the locking mechanism out.

does anyone know of a more graceful way where i might not break something in the process? I just nervous of making it worse by wrenching parts off...

its kind of a sh!t because i cant put any petrol in, so that means i cant drive...
