Hi there,

Busy looking at few different sets of second hand tyres and ive seen a few good options in 33"

Has anyone had any experience putting 33"'s on to a TJ Wrangler with a 2" lift? Will they even fit? If they fit, how did it affect the dynamics of your TJ, handling, breaking, steering etc...

Thanks for your help,
Brad

Just do a search you will find plenty of useful information

A 1" body lift, combined with a 2" suspension lift will allow you to fit a 33's under your Jeep. Combine this simple lifting strategy with aggressive fender trimming, and you could stuff 35's tyres under that rig of yours - that would be good for almost 4 inches of extra clearance (over stock) under the axles - but you'd want to look at upgrading those axles if you're going with a tire over 33's.

I thought any body lift on a vehicle equipped with airbags was a big no-no...

If your TJ has a stock d35, its a big no-no to fit 33's too...

33s on the dana 35 should be ok, so long as you drive with care.... but i guess that sucks the fun out of it all then....
