Think I might sit this one out, didn't over heat today, but still got hot enough to boil the water in the overflow tank! Might pull the front end apart and make triple sure there's no mud still stuck in there!

Gate 6 is off Heathcoat Road, GPS co-ordinates are 33°59'53.26"S 150°59'46.26"E. The sign for Gate No.6 is a bit overgrown & hard to see! (Thank's Scott ) (Sorry Steve :))

What did you think of Menai Aza? Did you get to try any of the harder sections along Track 8? If not we'll have to get you back down for another trip soon :D

Mate we just cruised around, I saw great potential (mmmm rock ledges) and am keen to go back and do some exploring. Just need a new axle assembly first :)

Howdy Scott.
Like Aza said, after our cleanup operation (laughing - scored a dumped and burnt-out Cherokee, so it got winched on its back and skull-dragged back to tyre-mountain with a chain), we just cruised around - a new red-rock colour JK unlimited, azas and Troys TJs, Jim and Stefan's Cherokees and my Wrangler. We went for a wander, bit of a mud bath, some minor rocky track and criss-crossed the creek a couple of times, then stuck with aza to make sure he got out with his busted uni-joint, aired up and split. Had a couple of beers at sutho with Jim, turns out we were headed in the same direction. Was a good day. I didn't break anything this time either - think azas UV was the only damage.
Dont know who was last there to write a report - I didn't have my camera with me, but think there were some pics taken during the day.
I'm going back there soon to check out some of the rock-climbs we spotted. Might post up an invite for anyone who wants to go too.
