Fell in love with CAMPING - now to get serious!

Went on our first camping trip with friends (Kangaroo Valley and Morton National Park) with only but the basics... and loved it! Realized from what the others had taken that we our gear, was, well.... VERY BASIC!
Now, if we are to get serious (as we want to anyway!) we need to get some gear.
This means things like:
TARP
POLES
ROPES
TABLE
ANYTHING ELSE that you may think of (suggestions)
Eventually, we would like to upsize to a trailer with all the mods and cons (of a tralier) but for now, upgrade from the basics...
Is anyone looking at offloading some of their gear (willing to pay cash - depending on price) so that we can continue camping?
The camping bug has got us and we are keen on taking up big time. Why else did I get a Jeep for anyway?

after that it really comes down to your experience... just add a few more things each trip.

One idea I "borrowed" from SteveF was to get a large piece of that green shade cloth (bunnings) to put down under the tent. keeps the tent cleaner and gives you something to walk on as you step out the tent door, esp if it is sandy or wet.

It never ends - we have so many different setups for different trips.

Currenly our camper and double swag get used the most at the moment.

We are using a dual fuel lantern and stove in the camper and a dual fuel single burner for other camping which eliminates the need to have a gas bottle, but you need to carry a small bottle of fuel (coleman, unleaded or shellite). Butane cookers do not work well at altitude or in the cold.

The camp oven gets used most trips as well.

We also have a coleman battery lattern same size as the dual fuel lantern that goes in the car every time we go away.

A fridge and a second battery makes life easier.

The easier to set up and pack down the more you will go away!
