waiting for my 37's and beaddlocked wheels to arrive, going to run with 5.13 gears too... also looking into front coilovers (similar to miraz) and a long arm kit..... oh the choices.... since my last post ive also added a high steer set up and dbor flat flares.....

Do DBOR still do the flat flares it's not listed on there site anymore
not at this stage he doesnt, but from speaking to him he will be getting more made up..... he had issues with his supplier... i think i actually got the last set made (all be it they were factory seconds)

ok sweet, so i will be able to get them eventually :) beats spending the money on the Zeon ones. How do the DBOR ones fit I have only ever seem pics of them?
they bolt up to the existing holes..... my rear ones needed new holes (but thats only cos i bought them as seconds)
they are an excellent flare, so much flex in em..... get in touch with him and ask him about em, or i can let you know next time i speak to him.... i know wooders also can get some very cool flares in, xenons etc.... which arent a bad flare either..
played around with the wiring on the weekend and worked out how to trick the computer into letting me lockers when i want.... no i can use em in 2 wheel drive, 4 hi or 4 low... i can use the front locker without using the rear just had to wire 2 switches in... its an easy job...... very easy....

can you do a write up or something on how you did this I have looked into this myself, but have only seen it done on us sites what switched etc did you use?

Diesel unlimited with offroad group. Rear locker an electronic swaybar...
righteo, so after a little play over the weekend with coops at ourimbah i went home on sunday and finally decided to put the new wheels and tires on...... so off came the 35's sitting waiting for danny to give me the ok to drop em off to him, and on went the 37 inch pro comp extreme muds, with AEV bead locked wheels.... had to do some minor remodeling of the pinch seam in the rear gaurds, took off the sliders/steps and i would have needed to trim them to get the tires to fit and i figured i could sell them to someone in need......so now ive got the 37s on and have been drving around for a few days, a few things have become apparent:
1. they are quieter then my MTZ's.... not that they were loud, but im amazed for such a big aggresive tire how quiet they are.
2. the car jsut fits into the garage, infact i need to make sure i have more then 1/2 a tank of fuel, otherwise i wont get in.
3. the ratios need to be done asap... its not that bad, but i have ordered the 5.13's for it.
i have also ordered some poly performance sliders......jsut waiting for them to come, my new front bar and we will be happy again... for a while......
i will be heading out to the wooden mans new shop over the next week to work out bump stops and ordering some new shocks 9ones with alot more droop in em)
i know ive been saying ill post pics up soon, and i will...... soon.
come to the meeting tomorrow to see it haha

next BIG change will be rockjock60's, long arms, stretch, coil overs, and possibly an atlas.... but that wont be for a few years.....for now i would say some trussing of the diffs, chromo axles, and a set of bash plates....
Yes and upgrade the rear axles as well. They failed on mine (37s). I wasn't even doing a difficult climb. No bouncing just a little wheelspin in 1st and snap :)

Yeah - depressing how easy it is to break the axles in the JK D44 - at least the Rubicon spec D44 has marginally stronger shafts in it....
yeah, im glad ive got the rubi diffs and all the assosciated stuff that comes with it........ for now ;)
new front bar and winch has gone on..... since the last update ive put the 5.13's in..... drives alot better now...... hopefully ill have some new tyres before jambo.... im thinking treps....
