Hello Jeep Dudes,
I drive a KJ 2006 Cherokee Renegade petrol version.
Today, my interior lights came on for absolutely no reason, and the lights stayed on while I was driving.
I stopped several times. I checked all the doors, the tail gate, the hood, the switch, the redio... every thing... and found nothing was amiss.
I called Jeep in Melbourne, and they told me to take the fuse out, which I did.
This disabled my remote locking device (key) and the radio.
I drove down to Kiama from Sydney like this, and when I arrived an hour and a half later, I put the fuse back in, and the problem was fixed. This sorted the lights out and the remote.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I don't believe this should happen that I have to take the fuse out to fix the problem.
If anyone has better advice than that of Jeep, I would appreciate it.
