The options are for a night run at Menai (weather permitting) in May are --
Saturday 09/05/09 -- the day before Mother's day--think about it ;D,
Sat. 16/05/09 -- BBM ramp day in a.m from 9.00a.m,
Sat. 23/05/09 -- ?? Nothing on calender for the day.
Remember you must have attended a Menia clean-up within the last 12 months to attend this run so only vote if you intend to drive and are eligible to drive/attend.

the 23rd works best for me, I have the 'Topless Run' to stockton on the 9th, and the SMH half Marathon on the 17th.

No, same Jeep not required. The driver/passangers are the ones that count.

:(Bummer the last Menai cleanup day was cancelled, was waiting for another day out to join the club. Anyway, locals been going out there for decades, day and night regardless. Bikes, horses, 4WD's, walking, even shooting up to 25 years ago.

Hi CraigB,
The next clean-up is on Sunday 31/05/09 or Wednesday 03/06/09, see you at either one or both :).
Times/attitudes do change, even for locals over time. Walkers are not usually the hassle, have not seen a horse for several years, bikes are becoming less frequent, but the dumpers continue and the greenies rage so we attempt to do our best to keep the place open for 4wding use, not many places left to do it "legally" so on so on etc....
Any Sunday is good. May be able to jag a weekday off-work. Doubt it, so wont promise.
Need definite names etc for those who want to drive. Need to get approval by weekend or NO RUN will occur ::) :-\.

I'll still be there Maggie! Even trying to talk Kay into coming along for part of the day. Steve knows I'm still 'sitting out' night drives till the XJ is fully repaired :)
I would hate to imagine that Watto's trail after a bit of rain up there, I would think a winch would be a requirement for any vehicle trying to get up those rocks!

The 4wd show at Penrith is on Sunday....
sunday would be good, but its the day of the 4wd expo.. so cant make it
