Ive been meaning to check that place out for ages. Are you planning to take a left off Putty/Singleton Rd on to Upper Colo Rd then a left onto a dirt track soon after?
That sounds pretty close to the directions I have been given

As I have a lot of time on my hands, I will be there on Monday!
See you then,
Dutchie
We entered the area via Colo and exited at Bilpin.
Found a great place to bring the club for a family picnic day out. Nice picnic ground.
In regards to the available tracks I feel I need to go with someone who is familiar with the area. We were in 2 wheel drive most of the day but did explore a couple of fire trails which required 4WD, unfortunately they went nowhere, but we had a bit of a challenge.
We had a pleasant day out despite the intermittant rain.
I think the better way to enter the area would be via Bilpin.
Any comments from the others on the day would be appreciated.
Bear
there is some people on AJOR who know where the tracks are out there, next time they go, i'll try to tag along too.

It was a nice day out. As bear says it is a nice place for a family pick nick at Wheeny Creek pick nick area. They area is beautiful and there are some nice views over the valley along the main track. As we are in autumn the colors on the trees are beautiful. Pity it rained so much, but it made the main track more interesting.
But for some real 4wdriving we need to find more tracks. The one track we found was really nice, but it is not enough for a whole day. It would be great if we can find out about them. I am sure there will be more tracks as it is such a big area...
I had a nice day away from home ;D
