Just went outside at 2:30 and checked the thermometer I have hanging on the clothes hoist it is registering 55 deg C. admittedly it is in direct sunlight.

Was lovely down the Gong with temps only in the early 30's! Glad I spent the weekend down there and not in Sydney!
