An Arvo/Night run on Sat. 10/01/09 at Menai, or a Day run on Sun. 11/01/09 at Menai, or both if you are really keen!!
Saturday's run will start at 3.00p.m and Sunday's run to start at 10.00a.m. Entry/exit is strickly via Gate No.6 only.
Poll will close on Sat. 03/01/09 so I can gain approval for either run or both if there is enough people interested to do them. Cut off date for people wanting to attend is on Monday 05/01/09. No late requests to attend either run will be accepted.** You must have attended a Menai clean-up within the last twelve months to be eligable to attend as per access agreements.**
We are also expected to take/collect at least x1 bag of rubbish at any club run held there.
Guests are welcome to attend provided they are a financial member of another 4wd club affiliated with the 4wd Assoc. and have attended a Menai clean-up within the last twelve months.

Night run finishes about 10/10.30p.m. all going well. You don't need undercarriage lights but they do help with spotting under your rig,or for the following driver as it gives them a line to take. Good fun at night with some wildlife along the way at times if your lucky. You can always bug out at Menai any time as you are never far from Heathcote Road.

Steve, I realised just after we split and went our seperate ways this arvo that I have a farewell on Sat night. So I will come along on Sunday instead. I couldn't change my vote since it closed earlier.

Hope you didn't mind me calling past to say hi, as I was just down the road, moving fish tanks. Certainly hope more turned up after I left, bit of a shame if only you and Dutchie attend after you organising it, would be a great day for it, was looking forward to seeing Tim, AJ, Chook and some of the others..

Got to go back and find a plastic side panel from the F/P door? It will proberly be at the same spot I popped the rear side window #*$# it ::) Dutchie even saw it before me and I was in the Jeep at the time, go figure? It later shattered when I shut the door, forgetting to open the window before shutting it, blew out a hole from the inside
Chris, ? have you got a small sheet of clear/heavy plastic? I will try to get to supacheap early to see what I can find until new window comes my way ::)....

Thank's Chris. It was a good run though. 80 series bi-pass has a fallen tree or two, right by the fenced area. A chainsaw would have been handy ( a big one! )...

It was a great drive!! We got a lot more night driving then we bargained for.... ;D ;D but I really enjoyed it. I'm really sorry about your window steve....shit does happen now and then!

I will write a trip report for the magazine!

Hopefully next time some more people will show up ;)
