What is the normal return time on one of these trips? Just an estimate is good enough.

Generally around three/four'ish when 4wding is finished but depends on numbers and what tracks you take. Then about 2 & 1/2 hours to get home, depending on where in Sydney you live. Easy to get out if you need to leave early..

I would like to do zig zag,
however I wont be able to make this trip, unless a random miracle happens my way.

my disks are warped and the passenger side hub needs replacing.
I tryed to get these fixed before Sundays trips but,
DBA are closed for the Christmas period and no one i can find has a set of DBA disks in stock.
Pads and Hub sourced, I just need a set of disks.

FYI, im on holidays all of January, once i have these bits.. its on!

Cheers
Tim

Hi Folk's,
What a good day. Kenta P.(ZJ), Ian W.(41 Flatfender) & myself(ZJ) met up at Richmond Macca's at 7.40a.m. then cruised up to the ZigZag carkpark arriving just after 9.00a.m. with no traffic at all on the way there.
We aired down and headed off at 9.30. We saw only 2 other 4wd's at the carpark and that continued throughout the day. the only other 4wd's or motorbikes we saw all day was when we broke for lunch just before 12md at the picinic area. Amazing, every track, every obstacle, we had them ALL to ourselves to enjoy/play on at our leisure 8)
We had completed all the tracks/climbs by 1.30p.m. so we travelled off along the Black Fellows Hand Track so Ian & Kenta could see and have a look around the gorge before we headed back into Lithgow to air-up. Again no traffic at all as we cruised back along the Bell's Line of Road towards home and home I was by 4.25p.m.
No camera for me this trip but Kenta only got a couple as we were all having to much fun to keep pulling out the camera!..

Apart from the three of us you all missed a great day out at Zig Zag!
My first trip there. Some challenging climbs and good tracks, even if some of the higher speed areas were VERY bumpy for my short wheelbase.
Thanks as always to Steve T for his guidance.
Cheers
