Question: How do you break an Aussie drought?
Answer: Post a Menai Clean up trip! :o :o :o
Maybe we should hold the next clean up in Narrabri. I'm sure the boys out west would appreciate the rain.... ;D ;D ;D ;D

THANK the heavens above!!!

Anybody got a spare throttle position sensor handy or get me one before Sunday. Diag. code shows up 12, 54, 21. The last being for that area is my main concern. Bugger Public holidays.

You tried Wooders? He's probably around and may have what you need. He's also open Saturday by appointment :)
Cheers
Steve
No answer from Wooders ???
Anybody need a jockey for the day ::) :( :'(
Hey Stephen,
You're welcome to ride shotgun in the Green Dozer if you want.
You can even have a drive and teach me some stuff if you like. ;D
Let me know as I'm heading out solo tomorrow.

well i wasnt able to make it through a trip without breaking something, and my jeep is in desperate need of some front LCA mounts so i wont be able to make it.
Enjoy the trip all
Look for the blue Commodore on it's lonesome at gate 6.. I have the clean-up board/login folder, so I have to be there! Dave, you will be doing the driving. :P :). No d#%n throttle position sensor.
;D Cool! ;D
My own private instructor on a Menai run. LOL
I usually rely on the JEEP to drive through stuff.
Now, with a bit of help from me, imagine where we could go!!@!!
Let's go JEEP'N, JEEP JEEP.

Great day out all thanks for a great drive Steve
Big ups to everyone who made it down there today, and especially Steve T who got me through a few places I was keen to, but not sure if I would *actually* be able to get through :o
Great day out all.
Look forward to catching up with you all when we get back from OS.
Steve, thanks for getting me through the Suzuki Steps that was the toughest track I have pushed the JK on :o :o :o.
Looking forward to seeing some pics when anyone gets a chance ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D.
Cheers.

Thanks to all that came out today. Dave, your JK is awesome ;D and many thanks for the stint behind the wheel today though it's still weird being a jockey, so I will be able to have a bit of a laugh next week at all you guys sitting on the other side while the ladies take charge :D ;).
Good run with only some minor "love bites" to those who ventured onto the harder sections.Go Chook, I could see Casey's eyes/mind ticking over as you walked your way back up the Suzuki Hill and watching Ian take the flatfender up & down that hill as well was a real bonus. Hey Vinnie, you are catching up to your Jeep real quick.Good driving today man! 8) ( I hope your Dad enjoyed the day. He kept his cool even in the tippy bit ::) ). Good to see you two, Brian & Nada, back again today. You guy's better come next Sunday. Dave I., you definiately need to get wheels a little bit dirtier more often, nice to see you again. All we need now is for our Jeep photographer ( Rebecca ) to post up some pic's. No camera for me today. :(
Thanks again to all that came today
Just saw your pic's Dave I. Good looking!
Well, what can I say...... :o
Another great day on a Menai clean up and SJC run. ;D
We grabbed some rubbish but full marks to the team for dragging that burnt wreck out. I can't even imagine what this place would look like now without the regular clean ups!
I won't spoil Vinnies trip report (Ha Ha, you get that for being late :P) by posting some of the great moments of the day but I will say thanks to Stephen for riding AND driving shotgun in the Green Dozer. I learned heaps again.
It was also great to trip around with so many great tractors. One of the things I find beautiful about the JEEP, particularly the wrangler, is that similar vehicles can end up soooo different and different vehicles are more capable in different situations.
I guess the quote that summed up the day for me was when a few people had to bail to meet commitments. And when Stephen asked if any one else wanted to go, the response from The Colonel was "Nah, Let's just go AWESOME!!!!!!"
Pics are looking good Dave.
Keep them coming :o :o :o

Wow - how lucky were we with the weather! Nice and warm, plenty of sun and heaps of mud and rocky climbs to attack.
the Suzuki hill was a bit daunting but the old flatfender made it eventually...due in no short measure to Steve's excellent (as always) spotting. A great day out!
Now how am I going to get all that mud off???
Cheers
