My jeep still moves even though the handbrake is engaged after 5 clicks. Does this need adjustment or replacement of brake shoes? How do I adjust the handbrake? I had replaced brake pads and brake shoes on cars but have no experience with the jeep.

Its a jeep thing, drum brakes always need adjusting especially after a mud bath. Youll be a pro at adjusting them in no time ;D and finding flat areas to park

Thanks for your help Azasjeep. Sorry I didn't mention that I have a WJ which has disc brakes at the rear. I have not taken a closer look yet but I suspect that the hand brakes has separate drum brakes within the disc rotor like some cars.
If this is the case, where is the location of the adjuster? On the plate or somewhere along the cable?
